Note: Since there is
too much material to be discussed in a single class period, check the explanations
in the student manual and let's focus only on those items about which you
would like to have further clarification
The servant of the Lord's role in the salvation
of the vineyard (49-51)
. One of Christ's role in
the plan of salvation is that of an advocate. All those who want to be
like him must emulate this behavior. For an example, take a look at Moses
(Exodus 32:7-14)
The Lord did not prune the bad olive trees
all at once (65-66)
The Lord recruited other servants and labored
side by side with them (70, 72)
Repent, or the supreme power of Christ
will make you feel your guilt (5,9; see Mosiah 2:38)
"Be wise; what can I say more?" (12)
Sherem, the antichrist (4)
. Well-educated, eloquent, flatterer,
powerful in speech
The extent of Jacob's spiritual experiences
(5)
