Section 111

- No schemes are needed to further the cause of Zion (heading; 1)

- The Lord can give us power to pay our debts (5)

- But that doesn't mean that we may indulge in "riotous consumption"

- Blessings come as we are prepared to receive them (11) 


 
Section 112

- Duties of the president of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles (4-12,16)

- Instructions to the Twelve Apostles (14-15, 28, 33)

- The Twelve send others to "open the door of [the Lord's] kingdom" (21-22)

- Judgment will start in the church (24-26)

- The Twelve hold their calling in connection with all previous Apostles (30-32)

Section 115

- The official name of the Lord's Church in these last days (4)

- The saints' light must be a standard for the nations (5)

- Notice that the light--not ourselves--is the standard (read 3 Nephi 18:24)
Standard (substantive): Something that is established by authority, custom, or general consent as a model or example to be followed.  A definite level or degree of quality that is proper and adequate for a specific purpose.  Something that is set up and established by authority as a rule for the measure of quantity, weight, extent, value, or quality.
Standard (adjective): Having qualities or attributes required by law or established by custom.  Regularly and widely available; readily supplied; not unusual or special.  Well-established and very familiar; not novel or experimental.  Having recognized and permanent value.  Grown in natural form; not trained (positioned or held) by a wall or support.

- Stakes are to provide defense and refuge (6)
